    My Police Summit SUV had a 1/16 Police Summit SUV

    Hey Guys,

    Just finished this... Hope you like it... Both, on-road trucks...



    They are almost identical as you can see... Both are brushed, Titan 775 and Titan 380...

    They idea for the rims was to find something that looks like the Police star on the Police badge, that's why I chose a 5 spoke rim...

    ok i see why you went that route. either way you got a different summit than anyone else. here soon my commando hummer body will have a custom dallas cowboys paint job. the fun we have!

    Well, I'm so behind the schedule with this project and it's big brother, but, here's something new...



    The dual color LED (red/blue) is a little crappy, specially the red color, so, I bought a brighter one and it's on the mail now...

    The custom flashing pattern is not that on the video, that's from another thing, but I wanted to test the electronics...

    I'll have to watch several YouTube videos to get some flashing patterns for it... Not that hard to imagine either...

    And, I got the police siren from eBay but I made a custom PCB for it with dual speakers...

    I'll try to update this project soon, I want to finish it this year...

    New LED pattern... Still need to work on it but I'm getting there... Also, changed both LEDs to the new brigther ones...



    More soon... I'm also doing the same to it's big brother... But, that's a little more complex...

    Another update... The circuit for the front lights... Actually it has two circuits in one board, one for the white lights and one for the blue/red lights...



    So, this is how it looks so far... I'm open to suggestions on the LED patterns...

    Red/Blue lights...



    White lights...



    Combined...

    Well, this project is taking long time because I can't decide, I wanted to be a surprise but I need help... I 'm going to add red/blue LEDs to the back of the wheels, and I can't decide in the pattern... I have two options:



    The one on the left has red on one side and blue on the other, so, everytime only one side of the wheel is dark... It's either red or blue turned on...

    The one on the right has red and blue on both sides, so, it's still half dark, but split in four... Two red are on, or two blue are on...

    I can't split them in 8 parts due to it's size, so, what do you think it would look better, the one on the right or the one on the left?
