I break my rear wing on the Merv almost every time I race. If I am lucky, it will break in a good spot allowing it to flex and not break any further but it will eventually tear off. I typically get 4 to 5 race nights out of a wing. Our track has many big jumps and some serious turns so if you flipů.and you will, you are taking a hard hit. When my wing tears off, my Merv takes a nose dive and becomes unstable when I jump. I was told boiling your wing for 6 minutes will soften it enough to stop breaking so easily. After doing this, I could tell just by the way it felt it was going to be an improvement. I have stress tested it and feel confident enough to post this and I highly recommend doing it. I am NOT a believer in boiling modern parts but I have to say that this is the exception. If anyone tries this, please post back your results.
