Does anyone know the size of the battery tray? Im looking for some 3s packs for my KB edition and spc is out of stock. Any other batteries worth buying?

I would say, if your not going to go with an overseas pack, go with the venoms. They make a good lipo and they are certainly cheap... a little low on MAH but still good and you can buy 2 for like $30.

The ones that Pavmentsurfer linked will fit however the wires are thicker so it makes closing the door a little tuff. I just picked up 3 with my KB Edition tonight. Can't wait to run it. Pav did you mod the doors or chassis any to make them fit?

I cut my battery doors when i bought my 2s lipos

I took maybe 1 or 2mm off the battery door, all I did was make the notch in the battery door bigger, I didnt dremel or trim the chassis side. With that done I can easily fit even the Big wires on my SPC lipos through no problem. Took 30 seconds, literally, and could easily be done with scissors or a hand file.

I'm looking to get one of these.....so is this car ready to accept 3s lipos ? I guess 2 in parallel. Is it recommended to change the gearing if going to lipo ?? What is the biggest size lipo you can fit ??

its confirmed my ***** 3s 1800 fits with the door mod. its a little sung so i tied fishing line around the battery so it i can pop it out easily.
