i was looking at that chassis ......
Only problem with the chassis was the width, I have had to use spacers so I can fit my orion lipos, otherwise too small, here are two more shots to show you

looks good is it lighter than the stock one??? and does it have special mounting holes or can you put things were you desire like the esc and radio system
how much?! lol
89 and up.....
Who makes that chassis? I like it.
Pede, Summit,
ERBE, Rally,
Motley Crew, 1SQ
I'm afraid it's integy. The quality isn't bad. But for example the tenbol mount doesn't fit. The HR metal gearbox doesn't fit. The shock mounts don't fit either, the springs rib between the metal diff holder plates and the cf chassis. I'm going to put this chassis in my merv I think. Put the KB in an all black with green alu parts just released and ordered.
The chassis seems more rigid. I had to wind up the springs a bit. I also put 80 oil in the dampers. There seemed to be some rear end sag. I think with all the metal parts it's actually heavier than stock. But I do like the look. There are a few screw holes by the sides of the motor for mounting but these go straight into to the battery bays. I have used some kyosho mount gel stuff. Very sticky and about 5mm of thickness to absorb the bumps and vibration. The black motor should be quicker but it's not. I need to check all the gearing.
Very nice car! Where did you buy the spacers?
**** no tenbol mount friendly.....looks like i wont be getting it
The way the shocks are mounted in picture 58-60 is not permanent right? It looks like no shock tower? That kinda frightens me a little bit. Pretty cool setup otherwise. Especially with the dirt dire setup.
the suspension does not have any mount it goes straight into the chassis ends (metal), clearer in these photos, then the screw goes into the bulkhead, its very strong.

the spacers are 2mm duratrax washers, HPI does them as well.
Had a delivery today, and it had these nissan skyline GTR wheels 2mm offset by Tamiya, I love them, my new favourites.
