does anyone make a skid plate?

I have a nice thick RPM skid plate for my e-maxx, does anyone make one for the e-revo? I did a search but didn't come up with anything. My son and I are gonna be jumping ours and I'd like to try to protect the under carriage.

I e-mailed T-bone racing today and asked them when they are going to. here's there response... "We are working on it. Believe me, when it is done it will be a must have item! - Rich" they make a sweet one for the 1/16 e-revo, hope the one for the 1/10 is close to the same thing.

Hmmm interesting, I'm trying to visualize where the third tekno skid plate goes, does anyone have a pic with it installed?

It attaches to the rear two screws of the rear skid. It basically just covers that area (which is quite vulnerable and wears through quickly). The Tekno RC skid also wears down of course, but slower and is cheaper and less work to replace the original skid below it.

Here is what T-bone racing makes for the 1/16 revo...

I'm assuming the one they are making for the 1/10 revo will be similiar.

I like the way the T-bone Racing skid covers the whole bottom of the chassis, but I'm still confused on the Tekno skids, it looks like it comes as a set of three, does it wear out and the other two are spares?? sorry for the noob question, just dont see how it works...

That's exactly how it works. That area hits the ground every time you go over a jump or similar and eventually the stock skid chews through. The tekno skid smoothes the area some, allowing it to slide more smoothly over ground, and prevents wear on the stock skid.
They have a picture of it installed on their page: http://www.teknorc.com/product_info.php?products_id=989

Yeah, I saw the skid installed on Tekno's Site, I understand how it works in that spot, but on Towers site there are 3 skids http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&P=8&I=LXZBE6 If it only goes on the rear why would you need 3?

    They are simply spares.

I am super excited to hear T Bone is making a skid. Hopefully it will arrive in time for this summer. I cant wait!
Using while stupid may cause serious injury.
