    Twin to single

I am wanting to buy a Summit and I see that they are 775 twin titans but most of the pics that I have seen have only a single motor alotof them brushless. Is there a conversion of some type? Just researching before I buy and a little curious.

They come from traxxas with just one single 775 Titan motor but u can get a dual motor kit. A lot of the guys run Kershaw designs 700h.o. conversion which keep the 100% waterproof standard in check. The guys who run brushless usually go with the Mamba Monster from castle or the RX8 from Tekin neither of which are waterproof.. and let me tell u I love being able to bash in the mud n hose it off when I'm done. I just switched o the Mamba Monster n its awesome I waterproof my ESC n its perfect. Bottom line is anyone one on this forum will tell the summit is amazing cuz it does it all.
Hope I gave u some insight.

Got my Summit for a month now, read a million lines (incl the very good FAQ in this forum) and drove about 10hours of snow and mud.

    1) If you switch to LiPo you will never want to switch back. I drive stock ESC/Motor with Lipo and a Lipo warner. Impressive compared to NiMh.
    2) Then I got a glove/shell/cover to cover the base when driving in the mud
    3) Don't replace Plastics with Alu cause Alu will break while plastic will bend
    4) Can't switch to MMM or Tekin T8 cause they are $300-$400 to switch

Like these guys said, lipos are good but if you're happy other batteries in you want to use those it's no big deal. I use the duratrax onyx to 240 charger it charges 2 batteries at once it's really nice with the digital display I like it a lot. as for the arms I'll just leave the factory ones until u break em and then go to the rpm's
