Action vids of my Stampede and ERBE

So im 24 and will never grow up. These things NEVER fail to amaze me. I did some bashing today with the ERBE and my Stampede 4x4. I think its pretty amazing that these things can take this much of a beating and ask for more. These vids were taken today and i broke NOTHING. Just a push rod popped out of the ERBE after the final flip off of the oak tree but i put it back in and i was off to the races. I hope you all enjoy this as i did. I cant believe i pulled off a double back flip with the pede! Its near the end of the video. I made a compilation of raw footage just so i dont have to post 20 links.

    ERBE:
    18/54 gearing
    2x2s ******* 5000 40c lipos
    GH shock caps
GH shock ends other than that its STOCK!

    Stampede 4x4:
    2s ******* 5000 20c
Stock except front arms are RPM

    U Rule!.. That's Awesome!
I broke my stock front left arm tonight. Bashing in zero degree weather w/ snow on garbage night! Just added swaybars and had more control than I'm used to. Slammed into my own garbage can!..Woops!

33 and my pede 4x4 is on it's way. My advise to you younger guys, find a wife that is cool with rc stuff. If not, have kids. It's a great excuse to buy rc trucks. Can't wait to take the pede out and bash!

My gf of 4 years accepts my addictions. She participates. I also build cars as another hobby. Fortunately she owns one that she likes to build as well ;-). I get a quad and then she buys one. I own a mitsubishi.. She brings me a 96 eclipse GSX roller that we built from the ground up together. Ive just recently gotten her behind the wheel of the rc and she loves the pede :-). After all she bought the pede as my christmas present

I'll be 44 in March and just ordered a 4x4 VXL Pede. Last year I bought a 2WD Slash and became addicted to these things. My Slash has nothing but the chassis left for stock parts. I wanted a 4x4 that would be fun in the snow. Can't wait until it gets here.

38 and my 6yr old son was my reason to "get back in".. and man did I ever! At first my wife was cranky about all the time i spend in the garage, then one day after she cranked a little too much I laid it out for her and explained how she is not allowed to comment on anything related to my hobby and how I always stand behind all her workout memberships, karate, dieting, etc! She actually realized I was right and is behind it now and even gets me giftcards @ my LHS!
The second my boy gets off the bus from school he says "Dad, Lets Bash!".. Gotta Love It!

The ONLY reason i got back into this hobby was because i was depressed that my car was down. I had someone put my exhaust on and at the tire kingdom, where i got my alignment done, the idiot hit a pot hole and it fell off. I waited and waited for my friend to help me out and it never came through. At the time i didnt have a welder or any knowledge of how to weld. So i bought a redcat avalanche XP... DONT EVER BUY REDCAT! That thing was the biggest waste of money i ever had. I finally broke down after weeks of research and bought myself a Revo 3.3. MAN that thing had me hooked. I completely forgot about my car the day it came in the mail. Ultimate basher out of the box. I went on a binge after that and bought a Jato, e-revo brushed, rustler, and MERV which have all been sold except the revo 3.3 which is currently up for sale. I realized that i had spent WAYYY too much money on this hobby so i sold all that i could. It got so bad, i had relationship issues because all i did was play with my trucks, bring them inside and work on them. The GF would just lay in bed and watch but there was a breaking point. SO i got out of the hobby and decided to do a custom turbo build on my car... BLAH BLAH BLAH.... Now im back and she bought me the Stampede and i bought my ERBE as my christmas gift ;-). I love my toys. Nobody understands why i spend so much on these things. People say its stupid but im like yea.. Sure why dont you stand right there and let me shatter your leg with my ERBE ;-).

True story. My friend, who is about as fearless as anyone i know, wont drive my ERBE because he knows if he hits himself, he will break a body part. Its crazy but true. I almost smacked my neighbor one time with my Jato 3.3 at top speed. The dude thought walking across the road to check his mail was a good idea and i came within millimeters of smacking him. It wouldnt have been intentional, when you drive that fast you HAVE to look at the truck. I had no idea that the guy was walking cross the road behind me. Another time i had it topped out and came so close to hitting a squirrel that was running across the road, i saw the hair on his tail move when the truck went by... Crazy... But its what i live for ;-)

I'm not saying it can't be done, but I haven't seen it. I have been hit at over 40mph with a ERBE, nice bruises, nothing broken, I hit my Brother WOT with a Savage SS, 15lbs and 45mph, broke the skin, but no broken bones.

I guess I'm the old fart, I'm 49 and loving the 'Pede 4x4!

Shadow7g, about a quarter of the way through the video, the truck drives up and stops right in front of the camera. What wheels and tires are those, because those look like exactly what I've been looking to get. I'd appreciate it if you pointed me in the right direction.

    BTW, very cool flips!!!

Do you have any info on those Axial wheels? Never seen them before, and that size looks like just what I'm looking for on my 'Pede 4x4. Thanks.
