well recently i had runaway and my 2.4 ghz controller set low batt so i change the batteries this is in a different rc and controller so i try again has soon i reach about 20-50 feet i lost signal again so i gave up set it was probably a faulty receiver, so today i take out my pede for some snow bashing and bang same thing happens what could be the problem guys this is really annoying because 2.4 ghz suppose to be interference free

That was a long sentence. Try rebinding the controller to the esc.

this is in a different rc and controller
Not knowing what RC or contorller makes it very hard to give good answers. That being said Traxxas only allows for tech support of their products.
