    no battery is waterproof

however some can be made water resistant

a lot of factors you haven't listed are needed to figure out your calculation..... there are tons of speed calculators online

yeah, just like the stock traxxas stuff is waterproof.... and yet, so many people are playing with them in snow, and frying the electronics.....

there are no such things as bullet-proof vests for cops, they are bullet-resistant.... or fire-proof clothing for firefighters, it is fire-resistant.....

I think they should change it to “water resistant”.

I saw it before the edit.LOL.

I am in no way saying that you can run that lipo on the ocean floor or anything of that nature. I would never own anything with a Maxamps label, waterproof or not. Just relaying the info they posted on their site. Chances are knowing Maxamps, there is some fine print to go along with their waterproof claim just like everything else. But if anybody puts the claim to the test, send me a link to the video!

    yeah, you got me!
I was trying not to be cynical on the "hosts" site
I think all the manufacturers are a little generous with the term "waterproof"
most of this stuff will handle a lot of moisture but "waterproof"-NOT
