Just want to double check before I start....

This is my first go with Lipo. I have a Venom 2s 5000mah 20C hardcase and a Thunder AC6 charger. I have read the manual multiple times, but just want to double check with you avid Lipo users.

1. Charge on Lipo Balance mode w/ battery hooked into balance port
2. Charge at 1C (5A)
3. Charge in my Lipo Sack
4. Will be charging in garage on concrete floor

Please please add in anything else for me guys. After reading a thread in the Summit section about a Lipo exploding, it does kind of scare me a little.

Edit: I did search the forums and read all Lipo threads, but still felt the need to ask again.

1. always plug the trx connector first and after the balance port, once the battery are charged disconnect first the balance port before the trx plug.
2. 5A OK
3. lipo sack OK
4. I charge mine in the kitchen room without lipo sack ! hihihi

I have my lipo sack stuffed inside of my army amo box for added fireproofness. I dont use a sack to charge because 1. its a pain! 2. i never go more than 30 feet away from my lipos when they are charging.

I think you have your step 1 back wards aren't you supposed to plug in the balance plug first then the traxxas connector! correct me if I'm wrong but that how I've always charged my 3s venom..

Is a lipo sack needed or whats another safe route being that im getting my charger and lipo in the mail this week!!!!Cant wait
