That body looks so much sweeter than the mustang body they are releasing! I love Fords but I want that Camaro body!

The Camaro MAY be released (not my call at all) but not with this scheme/configuration.

Man, that would be awesome. I dont care for the monster color scheme but a solid color or a prographics paint scheme on this body would be amazing.

Ill be staying tuned... thats for sure.

Meh, forget the pony cars, when will there be an Omni GLHS(helby), Charger GLHS(helby as well), SRT4 Neon, or SRT4 Caliber?!

You can't be serious?! Will they come with neon lighting, cut springs and a loud muffler/whistle tip? And a big "TYPE R" sticker on it?

Haha! Love the muscle cars, they've got style, and I drive a mazdaspeed 6 with a somewhat loud exhaust. I would love to see some aftermarket bodies in the form of rally racers - subaru WRX, mitsu EVO, etc.

Omni and Neon??? hahaha how about some of those sweet retro AMC's?? A nice green Pacer or Gremlin, that would be dope. C'mon TRAXXAS, you always talk about the fact you build what your forum members want, then get those Camaro's licensed thru GM and build us some. We'll buy 'em

Traxxas is a pretty successful company, I think they realize who their obvious market it. Most of the younger generation aren't really into "muscle" cars. They know that a stock muscle car that is fast in a straight line, will get spanked by a FWD or AWD on track with turns. Better yet, on gravel it will be (literally) left in the dust by a rally car.

I'm not saying they don't have a place, but Traxxas will sell many more compact "rally" cars than they'll sell "American Muscle.

Actually, I'd buy the Pacer and Gremlin too Look into the GLHS Omni and Charger that Carroll Shelby built back in the 80's, they would beat up on his Mustangs (even the GT350R) on track. Even cars that Tamiya doesn't cover like the Shadow and Sundance/Duster, mid 80's to early 90's Civic and CRX, Rabbit and Golf based GTI's, Cavlier Z-24, Escort GT/Cossie/ZX2, early Ford Focus, mayber even that funky looking Volvo 3dr wagon thing. Even some vintage domestic stuff like the Corvair, Falcon/Comet, Dart/Valiant, Ramblers, Pinto/Mustang II, Vega (the Cossie Vega in particular), Monza/Skyhawk/Sunbird/Starfire, even the euro stuff like the BMW 2002 and Opel GT (sold here by Buick in the 70's) would be kinda fun and different to have in Lexan.

I don't deny the fact that Traxxas is successful and they know who to market to. I could throw my opinions around in response to what you wrote, but Traxxas has strict rules against it and I'm not going to get into a peeing match of what is better: Domestic or Import--that is what the Mustang, Camaro, Subaru, Mitsu, Honda, et al forums are for.

Had a 74 Monza fastback back in 88 with sm blk 400 and posi. Could not do anything good but go straight. Still my favorite ride ever owned. Would love to see it in lexan, but dont think you could re-create how twisted the unibody was after beating it for a yr. The pass door hung 6" higher than the drivers door lol...

i think the body will come out to the public eventually, probably not with the special edition paint, but at least clear..... i am sure traxxas paid quite a bit to use the camaro's body and name to gm -- to only use it for a limited run on a special edition

Man... my KB body is just for show right now... and always will be. But if I could get my hands on that Camaro body id paint it up and it would be a runner. All black with black rims... oh dude... that would be sweet. No need for the monster decals... not a fan of monster. Just a fan of how sweet and low that car sits.
