    Cool rally shocks on e-revo

Rally shocks on e-revo for less ground clearance and more capability for on-road.. can this be done?

I guess it can be done, just donīt see the need,it will be like having a rally with merv tires, what do you mean with more capability on road? I do speed runs with my merv and it performs just great, and it is much more easy to control than the rally.

it wont be just like a slash, it will be a lowered merv... the slash and rally are a lot more narrow than the merv..... you could do it just fine, also the rally shocks have different valving

    It will work fine.
    But dont do it.
Stick with stock then put touring wheels on.
    It will be plenty low.

My kid got bored the other day and decided to give it a try. He used fuel tubing to limit the shocks and put some TC tires on his MERV. It drove really well but it will be going back to his standard set up.

Yes, it can be done. But the shocks are basically the same, only real difference is that the Rally shocks have 4mm limiters inside them so they don't travel as far.

they also have different valving, they have a different number of holes in the pistons

Notice my use of the word "basically."
Yes, the Rally uses 2-hole pistons while the others use 4-hole pistons, but otherwise the shocks are the same other than the limiters.

just put heavier weight oil in your shocks which will slow them down and cut 4mm lengths of silicon tube for a shorter travel and stiffer ride
