    FPV Chevy Summit

Had some time over the christmas holiday to finally put this all together.

The Summit is running a Neu 1520 1Y 1600KV brushless with a Kershaw design motor mount. Mamba monster esc. The tyres are rc4wd Rok Lok 4.0, and bead locks are axial oversized narrows.

Using the stock summit 2.4Ghz at the moment for RC which is fairly poor. I have a corona 36mhz to put in which I will do asap.

The Video is a 1.2Ghz 800mw sunsky with Sn777 camera mounted to a servo (for pan) in the drivers seat. The whole video system is powered by the balance plug, on one of the two lipos powering the car.

Run times are an hour or so if I'm in first gear.

Turned out nicer than I thought it would!

Very nice! It looks very clean.. Can you provide some more pics of how you mounted the camera and servo in the body, it looks much better then anything I've done thus far.

No Vids??? You cant baost FPV without showing the V!! By the way good project - I like the realism of the chevy. What range are you able to still receive video signal at? I was considering doing a 900mhz system (I purchased a cheap 2.4ghz video system but it intereferes with my 2.4ghz controller - go figure). I notice you are running with a Fat Shark video goggles - we are talking light-out expensive. NICE, But still waiting on the V

    Thanks all.

    Noir, you'll get it :P
I don't have a way of recording my on-board cam as yet... Will come up with something.

I'm running the stock Traxxas 2.4 radio gear and it's not great. I have a 36mhz rx to go in but its holidays and I'm just too lazy atm.

Great Video n music. Not mention a very nice looking rig.

Gee the Rok Loks make it into a unstoppable tank

Traxxas should have put a turret on these things.

    Pro Edit BTW.

Hey thanks mate, yeah the Rok Loks are a worthy upgrade! This truck crawls pretty well now for an all-rounder.
