Thanks Mike! Actually, I had an E-Maxx back in the day and joined the community then. I never really had any major issues with it because I modded the crap out of it. Once the Savage Flux came out, I sold the Maxx and got that. It's a beast... that's all I have to say about that. I bought the KB Rally, and that's got me back on this forum. I usually don't "troll", and try to help out when I can. So I guess "quality" covers it.

Hey could you weigh the parts for everyone when you get them? I want to know if the weight's considerable or not... don't want to stress the drive-train too much!

Looks pretty nice. I think I'd only be interested in the chassis protector though, that rear bumper is pretty ugly IMO. I'll have to email them and see if I can get the parts seperatley.

I am not jumping a Merv and make it my mission to not hit things.

    Found it cheaper HERE.

I decided to bite the bullet and get one of these. No pictures yet, but the whole package weighs 3.4 ounces (96 grams). It's beefy and definitely adds some rigidity. I need to mod the rear bumper, as my car is the KB edition and it just doesn't look right.

Just bought mine direct from Tbone... their shipping for this and for a wheeliebar/bumper combo for a stampede was only $6. Finally, a company that doesnt over charge for shipping. Ill have to trim it I guess to fit the KB body... but I think rear protection is needed on this car. Ive hit walls and curbs backwards when a drift goes wrong.

I finally got around to installing my T-Bone skid and bumper and first off, I will say that I think it's a bit over-priced.

The quality of the material seems good, the fit and finish wasn't perfect. I had to fiddle with the skid and bumper to get them to mesh together properly. The worst part is the skid rubs the inside of one of the wheels just slightly. This could easily be resolved with some trimming, but for the price I don't feel it should be necessary.

It would've also been nice if they included allen screws, like the ones they replace on the rally, rather than phillips.

    Other information of interest:

The skid and bumper also add enough weight to the car that I had to increase the ride height, especially in the rear.

The kick ups on the rear of the skid look as if they will limit the down travel of the rear suspension. As I haven't removed the limiters inside the shock bodies, I do not know how much of an impact this will make. More to come...

I can take some photos if anyone feels the need to see them installed.

    GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just broke the chassis and rear bulkheads after doing the same thing to the front last week. Definatly cheaper to buy this upgrade, although I'm not sure I like the weight bonus. Can't decide if its worth getting. Ive had Rally for 3 months without problems and now this! Maybe I put it back together jacked up, making it more fragile. I don't know....

Just got mine in today. Excellent shipping price and speed from these guys. I got the stampede rear bumper and wheelie bar also. The Rally parts sure are big. Ill try installing them tonight and see how it goes. If they are too big and bulky or too heavy I may only choose to use the rear bumper... thats the part I really wanted... and felt i needed.

Ahh! Good call. I thought both had to be installed, but i'd rather just put on the rear bumper. Ordered mine a few hours ago.

The only thing you need to be mindful of is, without the skid installed the lip of the rear bumper is going to stick down. This could probably be beveled easily or just let it get worn away on its own. None of what I say really matters if you only run on pavement.

    Re: Tbone....

Can anyone attest that this will STOP my front bulkhead from breaking?

I have broken it 4 times (and the chassis only once

I know I can stop hitting stuff or jumping so high, but don't want to.

    Will this help bulkhead issues?

Anyone breaking their steering servo allot? Mine bust gears and the entire mechanism too much.

I think we'd all like to see some video of these shenanigans you're pulling with your Rally
