    Question Parallel/Series??

I know that in series the voltage is doubled but the mah stasys the same, and that in parallel the mah is doubled but the voltage stays the same, but in which one is the discharge rate doubled, or is there not one?

Easy if I just give you an example

    2s 2200mah 20c lipo pack

    Single pack
Nominal voltage under load - 7.4v
    Available continuous current - 44 amps (20 x 2200mah)
Available power - 325 watts (volts x amps)

    2 packs in series (makes it a 4s 2200mah 20c pack)
Nominal voltage under load - 14.8v
    Available cont current - 44 amps (20 x 2200mah)
    Available power - 650 watts

    2 packs in parallel (makes it a 2s 4400mah 20c pack)
Nominal voltage under load - 7.4v
    Available cont current - 88 amps (20 x 4400mah)
    Available power - 650 watts

Discharge rate accuracy varies between manufacturers

Motor only draws the current it requires regardless of what is written on the side of a batt pack

    Cheers
