    Tedo's 4x4 pede

The 2wd Pede was my introduction back into rc in 2007, and it's been all downhill ever since.

I took a couple years off from Traxxas, but the 4x4 Pede is pretty sweet. A 4WD 1/10 scale that you can run a single battery was very enticing. So I bought a roller off of flea bay, and built this up.

Pretty much stock since it's my winter basher. Will upgrade when parts break. Some hope-ups include:

-hitec 7955 servo (ballooned and siliconed)
    -Venom aluminum shocks
    -******* 5200 30C 2s batteries.
-Masher 2ks on rpm offset wheels
-lowered body mod. Looks much, much better (72 chev).

This thing is sweet. Simple and fun.

That truck looks awsome! How's it go in the snow? Love the wider wheelbase. How do you like the shocks?

Also very interested to know about the shocks. They look nice... thats for sure. Great looking ride and the question about weather or not the RPM wide offset wheels will work. I knew they would.

yeah, I am pretty impressed with this truck. The shocks are better than stock. Very smooth. With the wider stance in turns like my truggy - it never rolls and stays planted. It's wide, light and quick. It's not as low as it looks, it's just the lower body mod and the wide stance.

The rims are just the rpm revolvers wide offset crawler rims, and the tires are standard 2.2 mashers.

How much smaller are those Mashers than stock Talon's height and width wise? I was also considering those Pro-Line Interco Super Swampers you have in the background on the same RPM wides......any input on that?

The mashers are actually a bit taller than the talons but ever so slightly narrower. They are a WAY better tire than a talon though, in every way.

Yeah, I cut the posts down, and left about a 1/4 inch. drilled a small hole in the bottom, and threaded tiny wood screws into the posts. They seem to be staying put so far. Ran it for over an hour today (2 packs). The posts are still nice and tight.

Yeah, those are basically the best scale tire out there right now. As you can see, those tires are on my rock racer. They are made from the G8 compound (super sticky and soft), so they are great for crawling. I probably wouldn't use them for bashing, but who knows, I could be completely wrong, that's the great thing about the hobby. Whatever you like, you should do. Why have a truck that looks exactly the same as someone else's? All I know is they are super soft, so they would wear extremely fast...

I really like the lowered body mod! I'm definitely gonna have to do that one. I don't like how the body sides don't even reach the chassis sides in stock config.
