    Lipo Question

    Well my first 2 lipos and charger just arrived. I now have the ******* Accucell 6, a ******* 2s 5000mah 20-30c and a ******* ********** 4000mah 25-50c 2s.

    I was wondering about 2 things.
    when it says maximum charge rate of 2s on one and 5s on another is that 2A and 5A or amps?
    Also is it ok to go ahead and replace the lead plugs with Traxxas connectors?

    4000mah
    1c charge rate = 4 amps
    2c = 8 amps
    5c = 20 amps

    5000mah
    1c charge rate = 5 amps
    2c = 10 amps
    5c = 25 amps

    You can change the plugs to anything you like, you may find the large gauge wires hard to solder

    Be sure when you change the plugs to only strip one wire at a time, solder, and shrink wrap before doing the other. Old school NiCd and NiMh batteries would spark a little if the wires touched but lipo's can solder themselves together with the amazing output they produce! The spark is like looking at a welder in use

    This is a question that should be asked of the charger and battery manufacture. Traxxas does not provide product support for these items.
