    Christmas Summit Coming..

I will be either getting or buying a new Summit for christmas

i have been reading alot about motors and batteries

If i upgraded the Titan to a Dewalt 14.4 motor
can someone recommend (with a link) to some perfect Lipo's to run with it
that will give the longest runtimes.

    running stock Speed controller.

******* is what I have atm 5000 mah 30c burst. You can get 4 can't link that site here. or for about the same price you can get 2 spc 8000 mah I can link them I think http://spcracing.com/index.php?productID=61 both great options

just incase you didn't know you HAVE to use an lva or lvc on the stock esc. Otherwise you will kill the lipos

Charger Hint (Hyperion) look at wattage , when looking for a charger , get the most watts you can afford and you will be happy done the road . Nice Blue lipos in hard case or Gens Ace ROAR approved (hard case type) google um. BTW no Lipo Cut off on stock ESC , so you'll need to watch it closely (time in steps , check voltage) or get a cutoff or warning device.

for me i like the NIMH , safe around water . and to me the run time is crazy long already . only thing i did to mine is run a 12th pinion, and put better tires on. but i like crawling around more then blasting full speed . so times are pretty long even on stock 3000 mah . Then again i am use to flying Helis that only give me 15 minute flights . :O

Have fun with the summit you'll Luv it.

im confused with Dual Chargers and a single charger with a charging cable that is able to plug in several packs with a parallel connector.

why would I get a Dual chaarger if i could just get a single charger and a parallel cable.
if i wanted to charge two lipo's or nimh packs at the same time

You can't charge Nimh in series or parallel, only lipos and make sure you do it correctly.

charging nimh is best done separately as the charger doesn't know the state of charge of each cell which could allow some to overcharge and some to under charge.where as with lipo the charger knows what state of charge each cell is at so for nimh i would look at the dual output to help the batt's last longer but I'm by no means a expert i went lipo and I'm not going back i run in the wet all the time i just don't submerge the truck when running lipo.I have some nimh for that but i don't like all the extra maintenance that goes with swimming
