    what's the difference in...

    What is the difference in a 3.3 engine models 4907, 4908, 4909?

    without research, im guessing one piece shaft, two piece shaft and maybe one or the other comes with a pull start in the box, but again, im guessing, having never bought a new engine in the box or looked at part numbers.......

    Nothing. The number/models that you reference are T-Maxx models with the 4909 the oldest.

    4909 did not come with the extended chassis and had reverse with Optidrive.
    The 4908 and 4907 came with an extended chassis, Forward only (better than the reverse which many people take out anyways), also has the improved air filter and the DC resonator exhaust, and 17mm hexes with the 3.8" rims and Talon tires I'm pretty sure those were the main differences between those.

    The 4907 has the 2.4 ghz Traxxas link radio system.

    ^^^ minor correction to NN post^^^ the 4908 does not have 17mm hexes.

    at least i did qualify that dumb reply that i was guessing..........but he did say 3.3 Engine...lol
