how do i fix the slop in the steering?

    1. i can wiggle the front tires and see the servo arm move.

    2. i can wiggle the front hub and watch it move around where the pillow ball is.

    3. the upper arm can move forward and backwards a couple MM or so...

results: lots of slop when running...

can the fronts hub wiggle be fixed with a replacement to alum?

    1. RPM or aluminum Knuckles.
    2. Aluminum pushrods, and toe links.

Two things took the slop out of my MERV (same basic set up as Rally), RPM knuckles and steel hollow balls in all rads and links instead of the plastic ones that come stock.

The RPM are plastic. I have them. They are great. They pull all the slop out of the knuckles.

Not all parts from the 1/16 series will work on the rally, but most will. The suspension arms are the same as the slash from what I understand, so basically anything for a slash will work. Some parts listed for the MERV will also work. Things like the RPM knuckles. Pretty much anything but the bumper, body mounts, front skid plate, drive shafts, toe links, and pushrods.
