Yeah I seen that the other day. Really nice RARE parts set-up there man. Specially seeing these Wildcats were basically recalled and destroyed by Traxxas back in the day. Should pull a few $$$![]()

Nice, but not me this time...

Btw, why it was recalled?

maybe someone who knows better will chime in but i believe it had to do with parts quality and durability.

I could comment on that but I might get banned... Hahaha...

Well let me first off saying that my quote is only based on "rumor" that I have read back sometime ago. (I should of re-worded my quote) I read this info on URC from lets just say some knowledgeable "guys" and also on the Tamiya club forums/and many others.
(I'm sure your well aware of this also SRTracer)
Different reasons/rumors float around anywhere from "Parts quality and durability" "It was a so called copycat of the Hotshot", "It was actually made by a company named Bluebird in Taiwan" and was a "Unauthorized release" by the manufacturer and should not have had the Traxxas name on them.
But recently like last month a Traxxas employee said:
So take it for what it is...I don't recall seeing these around much and I do believe Razer had one of these NIB back years ago that I remember seeing on a different forum.
So rumors or not the Wildcat in my eyes is one of the rarest Traxxas cars around.

yeah i think that as far as the traxxas name goes they are the holy grail but then that does not include the protrax stuff or the long forgotten vintage boats and the monster buggy.
ive also heard the illegal release story, i think it came up when a user on urc posted a 4wd tc or buggy (cant remember) that was earily traxxas esk and was proved to be an illegal release under the traxxas name. razer did have one, i think its actualy in the gallery. the one thing i would not call it is a copy of the hotshot, its hardly that although with only pictures to go by i can only make an educated guess
bdw those parts went for like 135 bucks!
