    Question Fast charge charger?

Is there a charger that can charge a Traxxas Power Cell
Battery (NiMH, 7-C Stick) Faster than 8 hours?

    Thank you

Tons of them - literally every charger on the market, that isn't a plug in the wall box/trickle charger like what came with your kit, will charge a pack in about an hour.

There are literally tons of "good ones," but my suggestion would be to figure out what your budget is relative to what you can afford. There's no sense me suggesting a $150 setup when all you've got is 30-bucks.
So start by checking out different models on the various online (retailers/manufacturers) websites, or at your local hobby shop, to get a better idea what you're looking at and the dozens of options out there. Then if you have a specific question on a specific charger(s) you're considering, I'm sure everyone here will be happy to give you their opinions or experiences with those models.

Your basic $50-60 AC/DC 50watt/5amp charger will charge your Series 3 or 4 Traxxas nimh battery in around 1hr. Two I have used for over a year now are the ******* and the Thunder AC 6. Also will charge/balance your lipos if you ever go there.

I use the Hyperion EOSO606i AC/DC Charger. With this charger you can just about charge in battery in your inventory.

If you're just starting out in R/C, and all you use right now is nimh or nicad, the Onxy 200 is $40 at Tower Hobbies, and is capable of 5 amps, plenty for what you'd need it to do. I've got the 240, (which is basically just 2 of the 210's in one cabinet), and I like them a lot.

I have the Onyx 100, and I love it, because it is simple.
My brother has the 200, and the only downside that I see is that he is charging his 3A batteries AT 3A.
The onyx 100 has a 1A, 2A, and 4A setting, and I charge my 3000Mah batteries on the 2A setting.
It takes about the same time, give or take 10 or 20 minutes, and it keeps the batteries cool.
My bro's batteries are degrading really fast, because they get really hot on the 3A setting.

The onyx 100 is around $25-$30 depending on where you buy it.
    I accidentally my whole truck.

The Onyx 200 is a poor suggestiong. The ******* Accucel 6 can do twice as much as it for the same price.

Charge time is only dependent upon the total capacity and the current , so the higher the current the quicker it's charged. If you like 1 hr charge then pick a charger w/ current of around 3 amps. If you like 2 hr charge then pick one with 1.5 amp rate. If you like 30 minute charge time then pick one with 6 amps.

Most any of the above mentioned chargers will do a perfect job in an hr or less.

The 240 is better for doing two packs at once. The 6 is better for options/features.

It will degrade quicker at 6 amps than at 3 amps.

Onyx 240 if you expect to be charging more than one battery at a time

Onyx 210 is identical, but does only one pack at a time, costs less

******* will do Lipo, and is dirt cheap, but is DC only, won't plug into a wall outlet.

All three are capable of 5 amps (provided your power supply for the ******* is 50 watts or more), so all should have your pack ready to go in less than an hour. Looks like you'll need an adapter no matter which of those you go with.

Depends which charger, you need to have the same plug as your battery which is a Traxxas plug. Easiest way to guarantee this is pickup some TRX male and female plugs and solder them onto your charger and all your batterys you get in the future.

Pick up this lead and adapter. So whether you have banana connectors or molex leads you will be covered

You are a guy who needs the guidance of your local hobby shop. I'm sure there are several in San Diego.

They will hook you up with a decent charger(there are many including the 240) and probably solder on a traxxas connector for you. If they don't solder the connector, they'll have the adaptor.

The Oynx 240 has 2 built-in/hardwired Tamiya/molex leads rather than banana plugs. All you need is this adapter
