Nice work Inny, you're going to like the action on that linkage kit, you got work to do to, hahha go man go. Wait till you see how those tires hook up, they are awesome, get ready for a clutch upgrade, can't tell from the pic are they 40's? Are you gluing or screwing? hey that Ofna wrench is the balls, best tool I've bought lately.

The clips are spare C and E ect, disk brake I’m going to try in place of the slipper pads, 17t clutch bell, and the rest is obvious that TM pointed out. I will be gluing the tires once the wheels get here. Al Im going to have to call you on that linkage it doesn’t seem to like the ofna mount.

Look at them pictures I have of the setup, it's needs an offset, wait that was the NE mount, I'm not running that on an Ofna mount, never tried either, give me a call we'll figure it out.

I got it figured out took a little bending, some alighnment, and an adjustment of the servos travel. I had to add 34% travel to the throttle side of the servo. Its working now.

yeah true. I'm wondering about my clutch. Just a stock one. My tune seems good, but no wheelies. I know Al keeps talking about the hot racing 3 shoe clutch. it used to pull wheelies, and i've only ran maybe 8 tanks through it. i don't know. maybe i'll just listen to big daddy al and get the 3 shoe. but i kinda feel like if it ain't broke don't fix it.

    Merv it’s a surprise!

Honda check it I had one ware down 2mm before the spring failed around the 1g mark. I think because the winter running with paddles put a lot of strain on it. Any upgrade is better than stock the 3 shoes seem to be doing a good job I say get one it’s an inexpensive mod.

The ofna 3 shoe fly wheel will not fit the picco .26 maxx and for that matter it will not fir a traxxas 3.3. They both use the same size nut to hold the fly wheel on the ofna one is about 1mm smaller. Also the ofna 3 shoe fly wheel is a 1/8th scale not 1/10th.

The t maxx disk brake will not work with the picco, not enough clearance for the air filter.

To reiterate the tmaxx bake disk is very thick and pushed teh spur gear about 1mm maybe more toward the engine. It has to be moded a little no big deal. I used a 9/64" drill bit to enlarger the holes to fit on the pins and took a dremmel and sanded down the inside a little to fit around the slipper plate. I don’t think it will really affect the slippers ability to slip all depending on how tight you set it. It will for sure last a long time just by looking at it, I highly dbout it will brake like the pads do.

On to the clutch I think if I use this that I know fits the crank or I can chance it and use this. The second one I contacted the sight and they said that it will fit on the picco .26. From the pic it matches the ofna clutch nut perfect besides the threads, the m2c I can’t say they have a moded clutch nut in the description but no pic to see. I think I will go with the answers rc. Then I will need a 1/8th clutch bell.

Once all that is sorted out I think I will need to move the trans forward to make it fit which won’t be bad because it will give some clearance between the spur gear and air filter. I didn’t like the idea when Al did it not long ago but it looks like it’s an option to run 1/8th scale which should last longer.

Got a few tanks in I am loving the hitec servo no more sluggish steering. Definitely worth the $$$. I am not sure about the 17T CB with the 38T spur doesn’t seem as snappy. I need to brush back up on tuning she was running way too hot I had to shut it down several times to cool off.

The difficulty to tune and the high temps were a massive front bearing leak. The fuel and oil all over the out side of the crank case under the carb was a big clue which was why I leak tested it. I had cleaned all that off o it last night when I had it out to put the 17T CB on.

I ordered up some avid ceramic bearings for the picco. I hope that they hold up well and don’t leak as fast as the stock ones did. With that being said they cost $10 for the outer and $20 for the inner a chance I am willing to take. The outer is the same size for the 3.3 so that’s a good price for a better bearing (the traxxas bearings are $28.5 ish as a set). The picco bearings cost $21.95 for the outer and $33.95 for the inner.

That is my hopes that they last. I like durability so the $$$ pays off in the end. 30 in bearings vs a new engine.

yeah they are the biggest help for me on the clutch bell. i was going threw ball bearings every day. That sucks about the air leak but atleast you can get new bearings. good luck getting that bearing out. i havent been able to get it out of any of my engines if they have a leak but im sure you can find a way

are you sure the trenchers will fit on those? they are pretty wide compared to how skinny the trencher is. and what is it all? i see traxxas diff oils and a bunch of other bottles and sway bars and tire glue
