I should have the picco by the 2nd if all goes well with the mail room. My entire battery will be in the field so I don’t know if any of the other batteries are going as well. Maybe it will stop at the main post office and I can pick it up from there.

Mine takes a SD card only a 1g in it but that’s about 45 minutes, I think I have a 2g somewhere and a newer larger cap one won’t cost much if I need a full 4+ hours of straight vid. I’m pretty sure the rechargeable energizers I have won’t last that long. Then again I have the quick charger.

I picked up some micro mask today at the LHS. It should work as well as any other liquid mask. The best part is the MADE IN USA printed on it, $3 for a 1oz bottle. Painted some on a scrap piece of body will test it soon.

No it’s a liquid mask for paint. If it wasn’t a 3 hour difference I would say its past your bed time.

Brother man, you don't need to be on and off the brake like the 3.3 brake in calls for, get out in that parking lot, if your allowed to and do big circles, 5 or 10 at a time feathering the trigger while fat to get the heat up, you can blurp it to keep it running if it wants to stall. Being real fat it may take half throttle to keep it running. Nice work.

I can’t wait to rip into it. From the initial tear down and inspection this beast is caveman. I will have to tear it down again and snap some comparison pics. I like caveman I have a hard time breaking caveman. Don’t worry about the late post I knew what it was going to be before you did.

Tank 2 and 3 done with success today. I thought I was having temp issues with it not getting over 200° but my temp gauge settings were wrong. The gauge was showing somewhere between 100° and 70° cold. Once I messed with it some the actual temps showed right up and curbed my fears of breaking it in too cold. Vid is uploading now.

Dude, I so knew you would love that motor, the longer you can hold off from leaning it down the better, I know how hard it is, keep checking the pinch, I just finished moving the Maxx into the stock alloy chassis and putting a center diff in it. Put the new side blow header on it and an ofna pull starter with the proper OWB, it really don't like the traxxas bearing and pullstarter, sick totally sick, unfortantaly I broke one of the rear brake pads installing it, it wasn't punched out all the way and I was rushing and pooched it.

TM I had the o-ring for the header split so I tore it down to check it out. As you see from the pics it looks brand new still no damages done.
Al I am resisting the urge but did tweak it ever so slightly to keep the smoke trail thicker. It is ballooning the tires right when it shifts into second and wanting to pull the front up. I was running it a little hard today by letting it just shift into second then letting off temps right where they should be. I put 1 quart through it so far. The LSN is driving me nuts I want to lean it out to get a snappy response but going to wait. The HSN seems to be set decently at a little less than 3 ¾ to 4 turns out from seated.

    This thing is total caveman.

I just noticed something, in video called tank 3 it sounds like your going "braap" shift, "braaap" shift, like a motorcycle because of the way you let off then get back on. thought it was funny

Inny, your doing great, you can lean out that lsn and get the pinch test close, if you can milk another qt through it fat and not pulling long wot passes you'll be in good shape, how does the pinch feel without the plug in it now? Can you feel any difference from new? Keep in mind how tight it was that night, that didnt come out right, lol if you can turn it over any easier your getting there. I'm at the in laws with a fresh one in the truck, can't wait to get home and get it ready to start the same thing tomorrow night.
