I bought it back in November, and no I only broke 1 A arm and a stupid cinder block wall jumped out in front of me when it was cold out. I will get them eventually but for now I am looking performance and tuning upgrades. If you could see my wish list on tower you would understand. Diff oils, os engine, tekno bat/rx box, tekno throttle servo mount, tekno sway bars, servos, tires, diff upgrade parts, and RPM arms. I may be devising a system to have a remote fuel shut off to be ran off of channel 3. Oopse that was going to be a suprise when I got done with it.

Say what you want, I've got 4 motors here all broke in during the winter, I think the motors like it, lately we've been hearing all these stories about rods splitting and motors blowing up after a gallon, I'm on my 7th gallon sense Christmas, one for the Big Block break in, so it really don't count but this is a winter sport for some of us, lol just way more comfortable above 50 lol.

Simple green and the massage setting on my shower head. I have one on a hose so it makes it easy to clean and the pulses of water kind of blast away the dirt. That pic was taken after a complete tear down and scrub before I rebuilt it all. I may try some aerosol type cleaner to keep it nice in-between tear downs. It was really grungy before I started.

Also dont let the parts soke in SG it will fade them fast.

Aerosol is what i want to find. I've used brake clean but i know the acetone in it can hurt the plastics/rubber. I'll try the simple green though. Thanks man

Np check out cowrc.com they have a aerosol cleaner that is plastic rubber safe. I want a can to try but my order of mooslick took up the 6 pack deal. I am hoping that the mooslick once sprayed on everything will make clean up easier.

Evan no white I haven’t beaten on it that hard yet but my set up is very stiff. 5 foot drops and no bottoming out. Most it has seen is maybe 15 feet in the air.

CM install went flawless but still waiting on an exhaust coupler to fire it up. It did come in but to my mom’s house in Ohio… I really need to pay attention to the shipping address lol.

How ever I ran a nontraxxas buggy set up with diff lock center and 120k F/R it would wheelie but the 1/8 diffs tune easier than the 1/10th in the revo from what I read.

Avid came through for me after working with them about the uncomplete bearing set. The kit is now complete with new bearings for the CB and the 4 missing ones for a diff. Best thing was they sent out the missing ones free of charge for helping complete the kit.

My moo slick, exhaust couplers, and spektrum tx/rx are on there way from my moms house now. I can't wait to see if the revo coated in moo slick helps keep it cleaner and if horizon fixed the tx/rx for me. I really like how it feels in my hand and the tuneability it offers just to give it up because it dosent have the range I want. As it was it would work for racing but not much further. From what I read the problem only exzists in the dx3s.

This came in the mail today.

I sent Horizon the older DSM1 they sent back the DSM2 and now I have a marine capable TX. I thought it was odd they only worked on it for 50 minutes. Now that my friends is customer service right up there with traxxas.

I will still probably break in with the stock tx/rx because I don’t want to test the new one during a critical moment such as that. I can’t wait to get to run my revo again it’s been so long.

Could not resist so I charged on a lipo for one of my nontraxxas 1/18th scale and I was able to run it from one end of the parking lot to the other. The parking lot is huge I estamate longer than a football field.

It works great glad I sent it in instead of office spacing it.

I GPSed the length of the parking lot at 520 feet. I can say that I drove my rc to about the 400 foot mark with no brown out issues. I used the SR300 rx in the car.

I stopped because I was losing sight of it but it’s a tinny car and it didn’t help I didn’t have the body on it. It fits between the front body posts and the roll hoop lol.

Center diff rocks I love it already especially because I can rev the engine to clear it out against my leg without it trying to crawl up it. I do that after it’s warmed up and I had to restart it for whatever reason. It seems to have a great power transfer with the diff lock in it. The 120k up front gives better on throttle turns as expected the 50k in the rear unloads nicely for me in turns. More testing will be done with it.

There was a noise that sounded like the slipper was too loose so I tightened it still there. It is hard for me to tell if it was the slipper of the rear brake kit as they are both new. It doesn’t go away at any RPM range or speed and is present on deceleration. Which makes me think it’s the rear brakes.

Now onto the rear brake this thing is just sick I was able to plant a front tire and pivot around it on asphalt. I have to get it tweaked a little better though because when I say pivot it was almost a full 360 sometimes but more 280 to 290s. I would like it to pivot 90 to 180 reliably but that may be expecting too much.
