    Action videos

Youtube's finally got some decent footage of a Summit VXL in action besides the official Traxxas video:

When I saw the video I was thinking how amazing it would be w/ locking diffs and low range gears. But as I watched more; I concluded it does really well for its size. It's a great little fun truck. Then the video reminded me that target terrain is wide open diverse spaces. And that killed any thought I had of selling my 1/10 summit for this one or just getting the 1/16 to have. There's no replacing the beast for flying over rough terrain, taking huge jumps, or climbing rock piles.

Again, I think Traxxas did a nice job on the 1/16 summit.

I like how it looks on the track. Im a basher and just like to jump stuff... the extra suspension travel and the larger tires look like they make for a really soft landing. i have to wonder though, how would the servo gears and steering hold up to some bad crashes while bashing? Overall these videos made me want one alot more than i did before... great...
