I think its about time traxxas started selling their vehicles without a transmitter. Part of the draw of the Link radio system is that it can automatically memorize 10 models and settings. But every truck comes with a new transmitter and they arent worth anything to sell right now. Selling the trucks without a transmitter for $30 less would be a great way to capitalize on the Link technology.
Or maybe a trade in program where the radio is in a sealed box inside the new vehicle packaging and if you send the still sealed transmitter back to traxxas with a proof of purchase you get a $30 parts credit or something. That way the radio is still unused and the buyer gets some spare parts... im just brainstorming.
What do you guys think?
