0 degree R Hub Carriers

I own a Nitro 4-Tec and i had to upgrade the R Hub carriers to 0 degree ones, so my question is do i HAVE to do it to both sides and the front, or can i just do it to the side i need to fix?

Also i wanted to know why alot of people changed there electric starter to a pull starter, what does it do the a electric starter can't?

I also wanted to know if the bearings i had on the 1.5 degree would those on the new 0 degree hub carriers?And would the hard inserts for the tires make any differance?

NO, you cannot put 0-degree hub carriers on one side and leave 1.5 degree hub carriers and the other side. Your car will turn left or right, and one side will be unstable and the other will. So i wouldnt recommend it.
for the pull start question, most people switch to a pull start b/c they have bad luck with theyre ez-start. One of them is me. My motor connectors keep falling off, i always have to recharge the battery, etc. . But some people have luck and none of those things happen. + with the pull start, all you have to carry is a small glow igniter, instead of that heavy ez-starter. Plus with the pull start, the car is lighter, and it looks better. There arent all those wires and everything.

Hey, they are $3.00 for 2 of them. They make a difference but not a good one. The car's handling is worse, and at high-speeds, it is very unstable and it is more likely to spin out. It just makes the car a little bit faster. It's not worth getting one.

I'm confused as to why you "needed" to upgrade. Did your car make friends with a curb? I agree with OneBigMan. The handling really goes south. That little amount of toe-in really keeps your car stable...especially in a long straight-away

You can't purchase 0 degree carriers for the front. Any toe-in for the front of the vehicle is adjusted through the use of the turnbuckles.

Yeah, I floored it going down my street and accidentlly turned a little and couldn't recover fast enough. The main thing that broke was the hub carrier, i tried to order it from towerhobbies.com but they SUCK at placing orders fast enough, so i decided just to upgrade becouse i thought it would make a "good" differance to the car, i guess i was wrong.

Is it your first time ordering at Tower? I know that my first order took forever. It had to do with them checking to make sure that the credit card wasn't bogus. What helps your turnaround time from Tower is to join their Tower club. The were running a special $14 for a year price. I just ordered some parts on a Thursday, and they were at my house by Saturday using the most basic of shipping methods. This is compared to the week it took for the first order!

This isn't my first time ordering from them, i have oredered before it was that the piece was backordered in the status coulum, it said "Mid June" but that was when they were ordering it, not when it was going to be in stock. So i got fustrated and just ordered the other piece.

I also wanted to know what the "anodized" parts did for the car, if they made it better, for looks, or for strength.

You will get people that argue both ways. I personally have the Powerline Anodized aluminum A-arms, Upper arms, front knuckles, and MIP Shiny CVDs.

It definitely makes the car look hot! The overall strength is improved as well. Where you start to run into problems is after your car, much like the other day, hits a cement wall. The Powerline parts may look fine to the naked eye, but could potentially be bent one way or the other. This, could have an adverse affect on the car's handeling! It is one of the personal choices, that like many other things in the hobby, that depends on how deep your pockets are

i have some power line parts on my car also. not really for the added strength but more for the looks. the stock parts works fine. i did crack a rear hub carrier, slid into a board real hard during a race. don't intend on doing it again, but got the power line hub carriers to be safe.

I have another question, if i were to upgrade one anodized thing on the car but not another, example if i upgrade the left hub carrier to anadized but not the right, would that made any differance, or would it just make it look funny.

Would i have to change the bearings on the 0 degree hub carriers or could i keep the stock bearings?

the package comes with 2 carriers in it. just change both of them out, why wait til later. and they are made to use the stock bearings, no need to change. whether you use the stock 1.5, 0 , or powerline carriers, the bearings are all the same.
