flywheel assembly?
Well i just got my pro.15 engine rebuilt and i'm on the step to re-intall the flywheel. My question is can i re-use the little cone that the flywheel sits on? Also how tight do i need to tighten that nut on the crank shaft, i'm afraid if i tighten it to much the motor will tighten if further and i'll never get it back off for the next rebuild.
Thanks

I have used the bevel split cone over again, but mostly because I had one on backorder from traxxas for a few months. Before you use it again, take a look at it and make sure there is no unusual wear, and that it will not damage the flywheel.
As for the tightness of your clutch bell bolt, I just tighten it with a socket but don't over do it. If you do it right, the next time you rebuild you will still need to use a soft hammer of some type to get the flyweel off, but your clutch bell bolt won't be hard to get off. Hope this helps, good luck.

Nope, can't find anyone that cares

It doesn't have to be real tight, but it still can't be too slack. If it's too slack the flywheel will slip in the crankshaft when under power. And that will end up causing you more work. Just hand tighten it
