PLEASE HELP?

I was driving my nitro pede today and it was runing great untill I jump it and landed hard and fliped it. I thought every thing was ok untill I gave it some gas and breaked, thats when found out the problem. When I was at a stand still, not giveing it gas, the trottle would open up almost all the way then stop then go then stop. This all happens without me giving it any gas. So i turned it off and took it in to look at it and i found out that every time I turned the wheels the trottle would open up.
Can someone help me? It would safe me a trip to the hobbie store.

Check the battery tray. It may have cracked.
Then make sure that all of the connectors and the receiver crystal to make sure that they are completely down into the receiver.
While doing the checks. Take a good close look at the wiring also.
