Yeah, we seem to be hearing more of this happening. I wanted a 17 tooth and decided to try the Racers Edge that Tazz likes. At least it looks good. Just put it on now.

    Wahoo!
For some reason, people have been breaking clutchbells lately... I've never broken one yet, so I don't know what the problem is...

Sorry to "burst your bubble," but the Nitro Rustler and the Nitro Sport both come with the same hardened steel clutchbell.

Sorry to "burst your bubble" Tazz, but the sports clutchbell is different than the rustelers. When mine broke i commpared it with my dads rustler, and they where different. The sports stock clutchbell is crimped together--that is why they break. The rustlers is the hardend steel one(it one solid peace).part # 4120.

Tazz, i dont know. You know how the sport is down graded from the good ol' rusty. It might be differnt. If the sport guys are breaking theres and the rusty guys arent, then something might say that there is a difffernce. Just a suggestion.

Traxxas does (did) make two different 20t clutch bell gears...

The current one used on Traxxas nitros...

The clutch bell used on the Nitro Hawk...
