    Red face I dont get it

    EverytimeI try to tune my car something goes wrong.Steam comes from the engine even when its rich. I dont get it because its smokey and unburned fuel comes out of the pipe. Can you give me your settings for the warmer wheather. I turned it all the way clockwise until it stopped. How many turns counter clockwise is yours out so I can get an idea of how yours is set.

    Mine is about 2 1/2 turns from closed without the carb restrictor
    Just because the ambulences drive by you at high speeds and honk their horns at you DOES NOT mean that they want to race you!

    It should be about 1.75 turns...

    1.75 turns might be too rich for warmer weather... remember... you need to lean it in warmer weather.

    so mybe about 1 turn from closed point in hot wheather and 1.75 in colder wheather?

    closer to 1.375 to 1.5 turns... (that's 1 3/8 to 1 1/2 for those of you who can't do simple math)
