Your servo gears are stripped. you can buy replacement gears at your LHS, they are easy to put on.
Rustler: RD Aluminum C hubs, 0* arm mounts, top and bottom chassis, rear and front shock tower, front bumper. Aluminum front bulkhead, Masher 2ks all around, RRP 72 tooth steel spur gear, AE pipe +header, RRP 18 tooth clutch bell.
lol you lucky...... I completly messed up servo.......... I stripped them slowly till I couldn't turn and it ran into a puddle...... completly ruining steering servo and almost ruining the reciever
Meow.... No kitty this is my nitro sport!!!
One other thing if you don't want to change the gears get a Traxxas 2055 servo. It has higher torque. It will not strip.

and yes i do know where the servo gears are. . .
just a few mins ago i took apart my whole car to clean it because i went out on a dirt track w/ my friends. . . i didnt have that much problems with steering but i am still getting the gears![]()
I would recommend spending the money on a metal geared servo. If you replace it with a cheap servo, I guarantee it will break again within a few runs. Get a Hitec 645MG and it will be the last servo you buy. Yes, it is close to $50 but if you start adding up all the cheap servos you will end up buying, it will make sense.
