You will toast the engine. This stuff is made for 2 cycle glo engines. Not real car engines.

I think "top fuel" dragsters use methanol and nitromethane for fuel, basically our model engine fuel without the oil, because they aren't running 2 strokes. The engines put out incredible horsepower, but only last several 1/4 mile runs!
I wouldn't try to put nitromethane in an engine that wasn't designed to burn it. 'nuff said.....

If you put it into a gas burning engine, that has a spark plug, you will blow up the engine... There is a reason why nitro engines have glow plugs...
I love the smell of nitro fumes in the morning!

A friend of mine tried it (just poured it down the carb) with his car the rpm's went up but it had a terrible smell coming out the exhaust. it ran pretty good considering. But I still would not do it.

you would need one of the heat-treated crank shaft styles they use in top fuel dragsters, stronger heavy grade titanium or steel rods, tougher pistons, and a high strength engine block. most of the time, they start the top fuel cars using regular gasoline so they dont blow the motor on start-up.

I guess that if you can afford to run nitro fuel in a car, you can afford to run out & buy an extra engine for your ride?
going from broken to broke, some day I'll get better at jumpin & just drivin less crazy.
