Why Stock Class is better

Top 5 reasons Stock Class is better:

1. Little kids with rich parents can't go to the lhs and buy an 8turn and 3000 NiMH packs and automatically win every race.

2. Driving skills make a difference.

3. Our motors cost less.

4. We never need to worry how low we can go on our ESCs.

5. We get Green Machines and P2Ks.

i think stock is cool too, you don't have to spend loads of money,
but i like modified classes, coz you can tune up your cars and get em to look really cool, and go really fast!
all of my car are modifies in at least one way, for example my Tamiya Monster beetle is the least hopped up car i own, it has Tamiys alloy shocks!

So if you race the stock class then is there alot of restrictions towards weight and things other than motor size? I'm thinking on buying a 4tec kit and putting all graphite parts in it and I don't know if that is legal for the stock class?

hey man,
it depends what type of 'stock' your club races! at some clubs you have to have your car as in 'out of the box', eg manual speed controll, a stock motor, no aftermarket parts etc... the only things you are allowed to change is the motor, ballraces, and body!

also the other type of stock class is you can have any car, eg a top of the range TC3 with all the hop ups, and even home made stuff, etc and top of the range ESC, radio,servo etc, as long as you use a stock motor!

so there you go!!!!!!

For your info, I'm not an idiot I'm a beginner! And "brains over brawn" means that my r/c cars aren't very powerful but the more knowledge about them I can get, the better! GUESS WHAT?!? You're not helping!
