    Question Street Sport vs. 4-Tec

So, what is better, the 4-Tec or the Street Sport. Which goes faster, and which is just overall better?

I have had the street sport and now i have the 4 tec i would have to say the 4tec is better the street sport is fast but doesnt turn to well like the 4tec does and with 4x4 in the 4tec it will go faster with the right motor and setup.

    the 4 tec is better

i have the 4tec and my neighbor has the Street Sport. on the 4 tec u can upgrade many parts, (almost any part) and on the SS u cant change the wheels&tires, spur gear, and other parts....

in handling the SS sucks big time, it might be faster but i rather have a car that can handle better and get away from a nasty crash.

i would go for the SS only if speed is your option and if u dont plan on upgrading it.

For the money, which one is more worth it? I'm trying to keep it cheap, so I'd only go with the 4-tec if I heard it was really worth it. thnx for an help.

Well the only thing you can change is the back rims and tires but you could buy stock rims and get better gripping tires but i doubt it will make the ss handle any better.Just go with the 4tec its well worth it.

Well, I'm pretty convinced that the SS is not the car for me. And man, if you think the SS handles bad, you should see the spirit. That thing has only 2 wheels on the ground most of the time, it bounces so much.

    Cool

    4-tec.

    4 reasons.

    -1) Better cournerning
    -2) Better quality
    -3) Better suspension
    -4) Better traction

    Yeah, its all there.

I just got a 4-tec and don't know much about either car but I would say the 4-tec. It is a newer model and four wheel drive is a lot better than 2 wheel drive.
