i'm making it look more like a street car supra rather than a race car supra. the only decals going on it are the supra logos, the toyota logo on the front, and trd logos in the quarter windows. i'm even leaving the wing off of the back(i know it will look kind of strange)

an easy way to place stickers is to have a spray bottle w/ soapy water in it not too soapy but just a little.Originally posted by satanicone

spray your body in the area that u are placing the sticker then apply the sticker and slide it in to place.
allow it to set and cure to the body and u r on ur way it works everytime

I prefer HPI bodies , have more detail and normally coems with everything neede to paint and install them. The soak tip is a very good one.

I just recently aquired my nitro 4-tec and have only done 2 bodies...but I have noticed that the wheel wells do not seem to line up as perfectly as they should(the wheel base seems a little too long). Since kcrunch racer x mentioned using 190mm bodies...I had to ask if that will solve the problem...?? Has anyone had any similar problems? and is there any reason not to use 190mm bodies instead of 200mm?
Thanks

imo the 200mm fit better. you have to cut away too much in the front to get full steering. i just bought a 190mm corvette body and i had to do this. the other 200mm bodies i have done seem to be better. bmw and monte carlo. maybe cause of corvette - maybe not. i will never buy 190 again.
190 mm is the bod size for the 4tec not 200 it is too big
the wheels are recessed instead of just right like with the 190 and with a little skill and the correct scissor the bod cutting is no big deal

If you use ht estock wheels , you can use the 200mm body , if not you should use th 190 MM body, by the way the WB of the 4 tec is a little longer than HPI, that is why the wheels doesnt fit perfectly in the wells

it comes with a 200mm body. if the from track is 194 and the rear is 198, why would you put a 190 body that doesnt fit right.

for those of u sho choose buy a 200mm but i tel u the size to buy is 190
a 200 mm bod is 6 mm too big it will be much wider
the actual size of the stock bod is 194

Either one will work, so its your decision. I had a feeling that the 4-tec was a little to small for 200, but a little to big for a 190
Testing 1-2-3.. Is this thing on... Check... Check... HELLO
I bought an HPI 200mm Skyline body and it fits great. I painted it black with chameleon colored (color changing) flames. took me 4 days just to get the tape done for the flames. And I would of paied $30 per ounce of the color changing paint but my uncle works in a body shop os i got it for free.![]()
