The worst thing to happen to your r/c

The day before I rebuilt my motor. A word of advice be careful when rebuilding your motors. The next day I took the car out and raced it around. When I was done racing, I took it inside to look at it. The battery connectors were stuck together, so I took pliers and pried them apart. Killed the connectors, could not use them again. Then I took apart the motor again. The brushes were broken in half. Turns out when I rebuilt the motor, I made it run backwards. Oh yeah when I connected the motor back up I tried it out the controls were backward. I did not think one think about it and just flip the wires on the motor. So if you are rebuilding your motor make sure you did not hook it up backwards. Just wanted to tell you my horror story.
