    Talking Got My Pede

I got my stampede on the 19th. It is really cool looking. When I first tried starting it, it wouldnt start, but I took it to my lhs and the guy fixed it. it has really poor exceleration(spelling), but I need to run 3 more tanks of gas before its broke in. I got some extras: 1. fuel filter
    2. throttle return springs
    3. spare glow plug(already blew one)
    4. all the tools I need

This truck is the coolest, I highly recomend this truck to everyone.

I have a question, how good is byron originals 20% fuel?

    Thanx

As far as I can tell, the Byron's Race 2000 20% fuel only has 12% oil in it. I think Traxxas recommends 18% oil content. This is not to say that Byron's is bad fuel, it just may not have the oil content Traxxas recommends. Byron's Race 1500 15% nitro has 18% oil, you should contact the store you bought the fuel from to make sure. Here's a link to the Byron's fuel home page.

Good luck with your new toy!

    Oh yeah,

the acceleration stinks because the motor is probably tuned with a rich mixture for break in. It is normal to go through a plug or two during the break in period. There should be visible smoke from the exhaust, and it may leave a (light)trail of oil on the ground. As you lean the mixture out (a little at a time, like the book says), the engine will become more responsive - and pretty soon you'll have trouble keeping the front end on the ground!

Be careful breaking it in, you dont want to ruin your engine.
