Does anybody use shoch socks??? are they pretty easy to work with or are they a hassle? i was thinking of buying some to keep my bigbores clean and just because they look really cool. thanks![]()

I got them on a cuple of my trucks,and there all right. If you do use them you need to get some alluman shock caps for them.

I have them on my Rusty. Got them in Blue ands they look great with all the Blue RD aluminum stuff I have. And for the price they cost, it can't hurt to get some....

Here is a nice little tip...
you can use ballons as "shock socks"...
all you hae to do is put the spring in a plastic soda bottle (20oz. works)
then streach the neck of the ballon around the threaded part of the bottle...
then give the bottle a little squeeze, and turn the bottle up-side-down...
unsqueeze it, and pull the ballon off...
then cut off the bottom and top of the ballon, and you're done...
I love the smell of nitro fumes in the morning!

i had balloons on mine 4 bowt a weak be4 they started rippin, so balloons dont wurk 2 well
