I don't know of a site which gives specs for ANY motor. A good place to begin looking is:

    about.com at the R/C forum.

This site is presently dead but information still exists for now. It has been resurrected at www.teamrcv.com . They've got specs on common stock motors and other good advice.

As for your original question, the max rotational speed for a Stinger...
My guess would be around 20K rpm (max) under load.

I asked the same question a while back on another forum, and got this reply, which the author coppied from RCCA:
    Max RPM: 23,923
    Max efficiency 62%
    Max power (watts) 87.9
    RPM @ Max effiecincy 19913
    Power @ Max efficiency(watts) 41
    RPM @ Max power 11033
    efficiency @ max power 41%

I live near the North Dallas Toll and 190, far North Dallas.

I have been running in some construction sites along Frankford and under the overpasses at 190 and the Toll. Occasionally, I will skip work and go run the track out at Mikes off 35. They have a nice indoor track but the ppl there are not the greatest.

for comparison my trinity 19 turn chameleon has,
    max rpm=33,685
    max eff.=74.7%
    max power=147.5 watts
    torque=199nmm

nearly 10,000 more rpm, alot more efficient, alot more power& torque

That's cool, I've been to mikes. I also run out here in garland at Indy R/C world. The track is bigger than mikes but I think mikes is a little bit cleaner. Maybe I'll see ya around and we can race or whatever.

great specs, aconsola. you too, focusfrenzy on the Chameleon.

now, help me understand what i've read. does that mean if i overgear my Rustler with a larger pinion or smaller spur, i can pull the RPM range down into max power? does stock pinion/spur gearing maximize rpm or power?

BTW-i kinda like the Stinger. not using it in my Rustler now, but its a good "go-to" motor as a back-up for bashing.
