Talking another GOOD EZ START MOD

the best thing me and the lhs found to do is get rid of the ez start connectors and starter box.now, all you need is the starter its self ,a glow ignitor and the battery.we found that splitting the battery wires and just touching the motor tabs w/ the wires while the ignitor heats up the plug.then, you just twist the tamiya connector back on to the battery when you need a charge. This puts so much less resistance on the system and gives the motor so much more power im getting even 2 second starts with a dirty one-way

    THANK YOU TRAXXAS
    EZ STARTS ARE EASY!

Sounds like allot of work when all you need to do is remove the blue plug wire from the glow plug and then use a plug heater and get the same effect.

To use the ezstart with a separate glow starter all you need to do is remove the blue and yellow wires from the truck (clip them at the plug)
then cut the rigges off the side of the plug coming from the ez-start box so it plugs and unplugs easy(when you cut the rigges off you can pull it off with a little tug one handed while holding the transmitter in your other hand)
cutting the plug off a battery pack and having the wires exposed risk them coming in contact with each other and that is dangerous.
If you dead short a NiCd battery pack it can explode or catch on fire!!!
I do what the voices in my head
    tell me to do.
