ok guys, I'm close...Just a little more help starting....

I replaced the pull start, got a new glow plug, put everything back to factory specs and can finally get the pede to start. BUT now it revs really high and I think its the low end screw cause it bogs just a little until it gets over the low end speed hump and then takes off. Problem is, once it starts, it won't stay running unless I up the trim on the idle, at which point it takes off like a madman and wheelies all over itself. I know I'm close....any thoughts??????

    Thanks!

Put the low end needle (len) flush with the throttle arm, now make sure the idle is set correctly. The opening in the throat of the carb should be like 2-3 mm I think. Its in the manual anyway. Once you've got that all set up it should run pretty decently.

Now when you tune it all up for good performance make tiny changes at a time, 1/16 th of a turn on either the low or high needle makes a huge difference. Once you have made the slight adjustment run it for at least 30 secs to see if it worked. This gives the engine enough time to cleanout all the extra fuel or bring in more fuel. (depending on if it was lean or rich) I used my radio trim nobbs to set up the idle as I went so that it wouldnt stall but make sure you dont use the brake since it will stall if you do. Once you figure the idle is set properly by the radio you can adjust the set screw to make the change permenant.

    Cool

Use this page for your carb settings.

Make sure your servos are centered. Here is the page for that.

    Hope this helps.
