Post Silicon oil packaged with the Pro?

I bought some 60wt oil to load into my shocks, because the package said I needed it. When I opened up the box though, there in the bag was a tube of "silicon oil". Is this 60wt oil for use in the shocks or not?

Also, the instructions for builing up the drive shafts include removing 2mm of material from both the male and female end. but the addendum that came with the car said that the drive shafts were built up already. (and when i look in the bag, they appear to be). Do I still need to remove the 2mm of material or not?

    Thanks for your time

The silicone oil is 60 wt for the shocks.

Even though the amendment paper states the drives are built you must still cut the 2mm mentioned for the suspention to compress properly, step D-9

Other tips I can give you regarding the assembly of the Pro are as follows : (I've built 2 myself)

    1. steps c-2,4,5,6,8 the measurements in the PICTURES are not the lenghths that the numbers state:rooleyes: measure the distance in the PICTURE and it won't equal the distance it states. so use a caliper or the ruler at the bottom of each page.

    2. don't forget step B-3

    3. step A-13 protect the shaft if using pliers

    4. step F-11 be very careful when tapping the stock tower it can chip easily

    5. F-19&20 the plastic washer is actually a teflon washer

    6. After you get it built drop me a private message, and I'll give you some added tips for the best proformance out of the car.

OH just wondering where you got the kit from, was it e-bay?

    Hope this helps
