It's hard to believe you are very experienced when you previously asked "what is a glow plug".

I think the 4 tec pro or the 4 tec for that matter is not a begineers car.

    Thumbs up

I have found that 3 stipulations are required before buying a 4-Tec.

    (1) You must be completely be off dipers...!!..therefore not needing parental support!

    (2) Have the ability to ask questions that make sense !!!

    (3) At least have the common sense to know SOMETHING about the hobby and not make an ******* of yourself !!!!

Other than that ..... HAVE FUN !!

Actually, the Nitro 4-Tec was my first nitro car. Just follow the directions and take it easy until you are confident you can handle a car with that much speed. The thing is very fast and requires concentration to drive it. It is a blast to drive and not really hard learn to start it. I would not get the Pro if I were you though since it will require some setup tools and a knowledge of how to setup a chassis. Get your feet wet first and then upgrade the Nitro 4-Tec to pro status. The Pro parts bolt right on.

Maybe he was an experienced electric racer, but he should still know what a glow plug is.
