from slot car to rc car?

do you think it would be possible to make a rc car out of a slot car? all i think you would need is one of those micro esc's, a micro servo, and a receiver (do they make micro receivers?). i am looking at a slot car with standard size electronics seeing if it would work, and the only hard part i can see is the steering. i was thinking about using standard electronics and try it out without steering (eep), just to see if it would work. has anyone tried this? if so, how did you do the stearing?

it oughtta work, there was a guy in rcca a few issues ago that made one out of a slot car, im not sure how he did the steering though. also, those foam tires on slot cars should hook up pretty well.

i think i am going to try something like on those tyco canned heat cars. maybe ill use those hubs.

YEAH IN a past rcca there was one in there they used somekind of small duratrax esc and i for get what else

if i find things that are close to these and cost less, i will get them since i dont want to spend too much money
