    bounty hunter body for summit?

Hey, does anyone run this body on their summit? Has anyone seen this body on a summit? Judging by the measurements, it is going to be a little shorter than the stock body, but I am wondering how it would look.

If you line up the front end of the shell with the wheels & wheel arches, then the rear wheels will be a little further back; I actually like that kinda look, but it isnt really scale-realistic...

That's weird though. Your 17.75" body looks like it comes almost as close to the bumpers as the stock summit body, but your body is two inches shorter. Did you move the bumpers inward somehow? Because when I was doing my measurements, an 18" body right on the middle of the truck would leave about 1.25" between the ends of the body and the bumpers. I don't like that, but I would have to see it to make my final decision. I am not worried how the body will look overall on the truck, really just that the bumpers might stick out a ways from the body and make it look kind of tacky. I could change the bumpers in some way, but I would like to leave them as they are.

depending where your body sits height wise, you could switch to revo front mounts which are at least 1/2" shorter but also will make your bumper sit lower on the chassis.

No i didn't move the bumpers in or anything .I am running rpm mounts that could make a difference plus the huge tires fool your eye a bit i think they draw your eye to them

So are the rpm bumper mounts just shorter than the stock ones? This meaning they don't stick out as far horizontally. I am looking for a setup that allows for both my stock body and the bounty hunter body to fit. Also, does anyone know how I can make a little flag for the back of my truck? You know, like the real monster trucks?

rear mounts are the same 1 3/4" i did lower the body a fair bit to get the weight lower so it may be a illusion that makes it appear different the pic at the top of this post is a custom stretched chassis two fronts joined for a project by a member here.noir 522 "the funky geko"

So are the front rpm mounts the same as stock also? If so, that's good because then I think that body will look just fine. Yours sure does.

So jamann, could you post a few more pictures of that body on your car? I would like to get some different angles to see how it fits. Thanks.

Very nice, thanks. That gives me a good idea of how that other body will fit. By the way, isn't this new site great?
