abbreviations?

Sticky Thread is closed so I was wondering what you guys think we could do for a (nickname). I was thinking,

My vote is to put the number before the name but only on the 4X4... the 2X4 pede IS the pede... it always has been and always will be. My vote is the Pede and the 4pede.

Some of the trucks names just lend themselves to a nick name like the Rusty and Pede. Some simply do not and the nick names just dont fit or roll off the tongue, like many that have been offered up for the mini Summit.

To me the new Pede is the Pede 4x4 and the new Summit is always going to be the "Mini Summit"

I'm not sure that it will matter much. I think most people will know what you're talking about whether you put "4pede" or "pede4". I do know that the ST4x4 as is suggested by Traxxas could be confusion as to me ST is stadium truck...I think it's easy enough to just put 4x4 pede or pede 4x4 as it's only another 3 key strokes.

I do agree, that I think it's safe to say that a "Pede" will though of a the original 2wd version.

I use "ST4X4" only when I'm talking about Stampede 4X4 and Slash 4X4 (or "SL4X4") in the same post, to avoid extra verbage. Otherwise, I type out the whole name, because I'm in marketing and I want the full name burned into your brain. Stampede 4X4. Stampede 4X4. Stampede 4X4.
