As usual, we all get a little crazy when the new products are due to be released. Has anybody seen or heard the status of the little Summit's being trucked off to retailers??

i was talking to traxxas this afternoon checking on a few parts from the summit to convert the merv and they said the trucks are actually shipping from the warehouse in california. no parts instock yet though.

Hi.I'm in the UK.I've checked the new distributors site,they don't even say they're getting any in:0. Looks like I'll be getting messed around by customs when I get mine Uk customs are a nightmare,your stuff goes missing,they won't answer the phone or reply to emails

Picked mine up today at a LHS. Went in for a $5.00 part and walked out with one.

Last time I checked, my LHS had Rallys but not Summits. I don't even know if two of my LHS's will get either model. They tend to treat Traxxas with little respect while the third (with the Rallys) bases their existence around Traxxas.

Exactly! Tower seems to be the last to get any of these in stock. They're usually not nearly this slow to get stock on Traxxas items. It stinks that we're having to wait, but it's hard to pass up the discount from Tower.

Well i'm tracking him now, he's heading that way, about 300 miles out. He has church in the morning, so that will delay things. Hes a big boy too, so allow adequate time for food breaks.

Saw that this morning. What a joke. Tower needs to get their act together and get some in stock. There is a high demand for these and yet no one can get their hands on them. Traxxas is starting to sound like apple now. "Yea we got a new product, but you cant have itttt!" LOL

Dont blame Traxxas for Tower's short comings. The mini Summit is available. My LHS has them in stock LINK

Not really blaming traxxas. More of a joke, the real problem here is amounts that companys buy. Tower, one of the biggest "re-sellers" of all companys products. Instead of ordering 400 units for the back order only to be filled. Order 1000 units to take care of new orders once they are "in stock". Just annoyed that I have tower certs I have been waiting to use and now no product. : P

Heck I wish they actually did order 400 for backorders! I have a back order from the first day it became avail on Tower and my order still shows in the system as "On Order". If other LHS have received them, Tower should have also. Very disappointed at Tower.

I know their price is lower with the discount, BUT it's not like they are delaying the shipment so they don't have to honor the coupons. Matter of fact they will loose clients this way by delaying the shipments.
