does anyone know if its coming with the 3 series or 4 series 7 cell pack?
i was just wondering. i have a few 5000 nimh 7 cells b but one more would be great

I think the trx supplied bat is a great starter (taste). With that said, do you want a taste, or do you want a MEAL? In my dealings with trx batteries, they fade after a few months.

Its actually NOT a series 3 battery. The RTR battery traxxas ships with all its trucks its a 3000mah battery...
The actual series 3 battery is 3300mah and IMO, after running both back to back the series 3 is a MUCH better battery. The RTR battery is not a bad battery at all though. Mine alway held at least 3200mah....Pede, Summit,

ok so they don't actually put a series 3 3300 or series 4 4200 7 cell battery in the rtr.its just some starter battery i guess i swore i saw that the 2wd vxl rustler and stampede came with the 4200 7 cell

It looks the same as the series 3 and 4 now with clear shrink on it... but its not. Its a 3000mah battery and the cells arent as good as the series packs.

In all the pics ive seen of the pede 4X4 its the standard RTR battery that just says "power cell" on it... the series batteries say SERIES 3 or 4 in big letters.

Other than the Slash 4X4 Ultimate, which includes a Series 4 (4200mAh) battery, all Traxxas RTRs with an included battery are equipped with a 3000mAh battery (no series number). Series 3 is 3300mAh, and Series 1 batteries are the packs we include with 1/16 vehicles. They are rated at 1200mAh.
